Expertise at the Intersection of People and Products.

The environment is uncertain, complex, and dynamic enough. You want reliability. We get it. We are a family business. We know the value of relationships, communication, and trust.

Ian and Tony Norris grew up together, brothers, playing in rock bands and starting one small business venture after another. Eventually, Ian took the academic path, and became an expert in consumer and organizational behavior. Tony took the industry path, and became an expert in managing people and products.

Our combined expertise provides a powerful synergy of theory and research, industry and practice. Most consultancies offer you one or the other—academic theories and models disconnected from the real world of business or practical insights with no empirical justification or validation. Our practical solutions are empirically justified. Our theory-based solutions are practically valid.

Many consultants are experts in organizational behavior. Others are experts in branding, or marketing research. Our expertise spans the management-marketing divide because we are experts in human behavior. One thing we have learned in our work together is that few business problems are exclusively internal or external. Your company is just a shell that divides your customers from your employees. Our organizational insights might shed light on your customer relationships, and our consumer insights might shed light on employee dynamics. The point is, even when we are working on narrowly defined problems—whether it is customer satisfaction or employee motivation—our framework is the science of human behavior, and our solution is informed by a holistic understanding of both the person and the organization.
